Love. Faith. Gratitude

Meet The Author

Life is not without tragedy. Choose how that pain impacts your future.

Shelly-Ann Thompson is a Communications Strategist, Social Entrepreneur, Film and Television Producer, and Journalist. This memoir, My Heart Sank – Overcoming Grief, Loss and Challenges is her first book. It chronicles her personal journey with grief, having lost eleven loved ones not counting closely tied colleagues. She shares candidly the aching pain endured as a result of those losses and thus the mental fortitude she had to develop to carry on their rich legacy. She is writing two others, which will share the joys and challenges of Motherhood and another on her more than 22 years of adventure spent as a news reporter and television current affairs programme producer. More on those in the near future. For now, be inspired by her story.
